Exteel is an action MMO game developed by NCSoft. In this game you are a pilot of giant robots called mechanaughts. The game is not like other MMOs created by NCSoft, the focus of this game is on action. Of course, there is an element of role-playing within the game: levels for your character, as well as the chance to customize your mech. In fact, this is a fun part of the game, you can buy pre-assembled robots or you can buy parts and make your own. As well as parts, you can also buy skills for your mech, which are time limited, but they are very helpful in combat.
When you have your mech ready and painted then you can join combat. There are 5 combat modes, such as Death-match, Team Death-Match, Capture the Flag, Territory control and Last Stand. This last one is a cooperative mode, wherein you have to defend certain areas of the map against an army of robots. The game is played in the third-person view, which is quite nice because you can see your mech in action. Once you get into the game you'll realize that the action is very fast and you have to start moving swiftly to stay alive. This game does not require huge amounts of time for you to enjoy, which is great for a casual gamer. The best thing is that it is free to play, so it is recommended for almost any action fan.
